The 1890 Special US Census lists James H. Olds as former private Co. G 176th NY Infantry who served 1 year and 1 month. Enlisted October 10. 1862 and discharged November 10 1863. Reported to be in 1889 "a little deft". 1890 address was Hagedorn's Mills.
