Civil War Pensions

  

Elbert Z. Beach, Gloversville, member Co. B., 2nd Regiment, NY Veteran Cavalry, pension granted for rupture.  His first payment is over $200. (November 8, 1890)

Mrs. Louisa Bissell, Gloversville, widow's pension of Edwin Bissell, member Co. F., 77th Reg. NY Vols., pension granted $8 per month from July 1890 under new law. (August 3, 1891)

Mrs. Adelia Bruce, Gloversville, widow's pension of Elijah Bruce, pension granted of $8 per month from July 1890, under the new law. (August 3, 1891)

Robert Calderwood, Perth, member of Co. A., 79th Regiment NY Vols., pension granted $12 per month for rheumatism. (November 8, 1890)

Peter Campbell, Gloversville, pension granted January 7, 1891.

Charlotte Cody, of Stratford, widow pension of Hiram Cody, original pension restored January 7, 1891.

William A. Cooley, Mayfield, Private in Co. E. 18th Regiment NY Vols., received pension for rheumatism received in the service.  He received $550 as back pay.  (July 14, 1887) 

Benjamin Cosselman, Gloversville, pension granted with increase, January 7, 1891.

Mrs. Sarah Crankshaw, Gloversville, widow's pension of Isaac A. Crankshaw, Co. H., 16th Regiment, NY Heavy Artillery, pension granted $12 per month from November 13, 1889. (November 8, 1890)

David N. Haines, Gloversville, member of Co. I., 10th Regiment, NY Cavalry Volunteers, pension granted for $8 per month from July 20, 1888 for rheumatism contracted in the service. (November 8, 1890)

Dennis McDowell, Gloversville, member Co. I, 49th Regiment, NY Vols., pension granted $12 per month. (August 3, 1891)

George W. Walsh, Gloversville, member of Co. B., 77th Regiment, NY Vols., pension granted for kidney disease.  His first payment is about $450. (November 8, 1890)
