The Cline Family of Oppenheim

In the 1790s, two of three sons of Henrich Cline (Klein) (c.1740-1825) of The Clove Valley, Dutchess County, NY, came to the area that is now known as Oppenheim, NY with their young families. They were Peter Cline and his wife Deborah Brundage, and Henry Cline and his wife Betsey ____. Most of Peter's descendants remained in the area and some of Henry's did too. What follows is a very brief summary of what we already know of these descendants and, of course, we would like to hear from anyone who can add to this knowledge. We are also interested in family photographs, both of people and of houses. Finally, in particular, we are looking for a Prayer Book in German which was supposed to have been brought to America by Henrich Cline. Its whereabouts was last known to us in 1941 when it was described in a Cline family genealogy. At that time it was in the possession of Loretta Loadwick Cline of St. Johnsville, NY. It was described as a book with a shield-shaped piece of paper pasted on the front cover on which was written, "This book great-grandfather Cline gave to mother. It is the book which his mother gave him when he got on the ship to start for America." It has a date of 1737.
A third brother, Abraham (1767-1855), remained on the family homestead in Dutchess County. I do not include his family here. They mostly remained in Dutchess County with a few moving to Saratoga County, or so we know so far.
Please feel free to contact me, Mary Cline. I have given birth and death dates for Clines when known, and the names of known spouses. If anyone moved from the general area of their parents' home, I have noted that when known.
