Notes from Marcia Buffett: Henrietta Elnora Groff known as Nora was the daughter of Albert Groff and Carrie Carpenter. She married Frederick Masten from Saratoga County. They had a son Herbert "Bert" Masten. He was born Aug 1905 in Gloversville. Bert died in 1967 in Herkimer.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Groff, 26 Franklin street celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at their home yesterday. Immediate friends of the family and relatives were present for the festivities. Mr. and Mrs. Groff were married in the Town of Hope on February 26, 1878.
