From a listing found on the Gloversville Library dating from around 1920 - "Go north from West Galway through Hoesville about two and a half miles to the first four corners. Blair Cemetery, Broadalbin - 26 names, 16 stones. Information from C. Durkee's 1879 cemetery records. Located half mile north of Newman Hill (now Zion Hill) Cemetery and a mile and three quarters north of West Galway. It is on the east side of the road in Broadalbin, but close to the Galway line. Many of the stones are broken down and in fragments (1878). The inscriptions were copied October 4, 1878 by Edward D. Harris." No care has been taken in 1998. | ||||||

Information from Cornelius Durkee's 1878 cemetery report. Per Frothingham-s "History of Fulton County" Alexander came from Scotland about 1783. He kept a tavern in 1793. He was Broadalbin Town Clerk from 1794 - 1800 and 1802 - 1804. He was Commissioner of Highways in 1794 as well as being elected Commissioner of Excise on April 1 1794. On that same date he received a license at a cost of 2 pounds to "keep an inn or tavern". | |

Per a listing found in the Gloversville Library dated around 1920 - "Take road north through West Galway to Hoesville, turn west on macadam road for about three miles, then turn east on the first road bearing to the left. Cemetery is on west side of road about one-fourth mile before reaching house that stands back from the road. This road is a direct one to Hagamans." | ||||||

Kenyon Cemetery, Broadalbin - 1 stone, 4 names. Per the 1920’s report found in the Gloversville Library, "Go north out of West Galway, cemetery is on a stone road that turns west out of Hoesville, about one-half mile from corner, and on north side of road nearly opposite school house." In 1998 a tiny patch amid a couple trees in the middle of a field approximately ¼ mile west of the Hoesville intersection, on the north side. Only one stone still standing and readable - one other standing but broken and the lettered part missing, and a third stone face down. | ||||||

Topnotch Tavern - one stone. There is a gravestone in the entryway of the Topnotch Tavern in west Galway. It is supposed to be the gravestone of Lucinda M . Harris, daughter of Soriel and Phebe Harris, who died December 7, 1835 at the age of 6 years and 4 months. | ||||||
