The above listings were researched by Martha Magill, our neighbor at Herkimer/Montgomery County GenWeb.  She writes:  "I try to keep my eyes open for the ancestral surnames of my Herkimer/Montgomery site volunteers, as "repayment" for their time and generosity. I found the DAR volume above that was filled with Oppenheim cemeteries and checked for the Mosher ancestors of our mutual regular typing volunteer, Lori Whitmer. Lori is looking for Peter Mosher, was born ca. 1828 and he died ca. 1880. He married Betsy Cross and they had children Ida, Horatio, Nathan, Dolphina, and Etta Allen. She thinks there may be one more child and is pretty sure Peter's parents are Solomon Jr. and Johanna. None of the persons above were Lori's Moshers but I'm contributing it to help others."
