Examples of "V" (victory) mail.
It was a service the
government provided which served two purposes.
It saved space (the actual
size of the letters are 3" x 4"),
and the government could readily censor
it.
The "V" (victory)
mail was sent to Mrs. William Robbins when he was stationed in Paris.
