Friend Spier

I have a friend who is in want of a team of good horses and we conclude you are as good a judge of horses as any man & wish to employ you to look them up for us.  We want a good team for the purpose of farming in Ulster Co., N. Y..  Matched for color and sound and not over seven years old and warranted in short we want you to look up just such between us would suit yourself and we do not want them to cost much of any over $200. delivered in Albany.  Please give us the result of your effort by letter as soon as possible and we will return you an immediate answer and give you the okay that we want them delivered in Albany which must be as soon as the fore part of the last week in March where you will find the money (if you succeed) as we shall dine at in our next and pay you for your troubles.

I have thought of J. Chambers horses or of  Wm Browns but we would not confine you to these if you can do better.

Yours,
E. Jacobs
