In Caroga, on the 13th inst., John Francisco, in the 61st year of his age.

Mrs. Lewis Burgess
Mrs. Hazel M. Burgess, 44, died unexpectedly about 11 last night at her home, 3 Burr Hill.
A Schenectady native, she spent most of her life in Gloversville, where she was a member of the First Methodist Church. She had worked in her home as a glovemaker for Superb Glove Company, Johnstown.
Surviving are her husband, Lewis; a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Morrison; a son, Gerald; her father, Orson J. Smith, all of Gloversville; three sisters, Mrs. Verna Brown, Gloversville WAC M-Sgt. Gladise Smith, stationed in Whitehall, and Mrs. Irene Badgley, San Gabriel, Calif and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Helen M. Clemans, 1887
Mrs. Helen M. Clemans, widow of the late Rev. S. W. Clemans, died at her home at Hagamans Mills, at three o'clock Monday morning. Consumption, with which she had been long affected, was the cause of her death. Deceased was fifty-seven years of age. She was a lady of exemplary Christian character, and a consistent member of the Methodist church. She was the mother of Mr. Stephen L. Clemans, of this village.
