September 1948
No minutes were kept for the September 1948 meeting.
October 1948
The regular meeting of the West Bush P. T. A. was called to order by the President and opened with the "Parents Teachers Prayer".
They elected a new Treasurer, Helen Armstrong.
They talked about having teeth and eyes and chest X-rays of the children. They decided that if any child had poor sight, they would send them to an Eye Doctor. They also decided to take the children to have chest X-rays. With parents consent.
They decided to have a Harvest Supper. The committee is Stella Hurd, Grace Ward, Ruth Ryder, Mrs. Vosburgh, Mrs. Smullen and Mrs. Shear. Also to have a White Elephant Sale.
They decided to have a Halloween dance on October 30. The committee is Stella Hurd, Miss Jennie Yuckniewicz and Marion Beck.
November 1948
The regular meeting of the West Bush P. T. A. was called to order by the President and opened with the "Lord's Prayer".
New Business:
They decided that the members of the P. T. A did not have to pay for the Harvest Supper. The Harvest Supper will be held November 10th. They also decided what each member should bring.The decided to have a Christmas Party at the next meeting and each members should bring a fifty cent (.50) gift for the grab bag.
Mrs. John Autilio will be the Guest Speaker.
Meeting adjourned and refreshments served.
December 1948
A Christmas Party was at the beginning of the meeting. The regular meeting of the West Bush P. T. A. was called to order by the President Marion Edel and opened with the "Lord's Prayer".
The Treasurer's report was read and approved.
They voted on giving each child a fifty cent (.50) gift and to give each child candy. Mrs. Shear talked about buying candy. They donated ten dollars and five cents ($10.05) for candy and seventeen dollars and fifteen cents ($17.15) for gifts (for the children) Christmas Party. The committee will be Mrs. Shear, Miss Jennie Yuckniewicz, and Marion Edel. They decided to give each child a pair of Mittens or Socks.
Meeting adjourned.

January 1949

February 1949
The regular meeting of the West Bush P. T. A. was called to order by the President Marion Edel and the saying of the "Lord's Prayer".
The Treasurer's and Secretary's reports were read and approved.
New Business:
They donated two dollars ($2.00) for the Founder's Day Program.They decided to have a Clam Chowder Supper. The committee for the supper is Grace Ward, Ruth Ryder, Laura Smullen and Luella McLain. It will be held the 25th of March at 6 o'clock. The price is fifty cents (.50).
They decided to go to Gloversville High School March 1st. instead of the regular meeting. It was agreed to meet at the School House to go to Gloversville.
The Founder's Day Program began with a reading by Marion Edel, assisted by Stella Hurd and Jennie Yuckniewicz.
The meeting adjourned.
March 1949
There was no March meeting. The members went to Gloversville High School on March 1, 1949.
April 1949
The regular meeting of the West Bush P. T. A. was called to order by the President Marion Edel and saying of the "Lord's Prayer".
Nominations for Officers:

Treasurer: Helen Armstrong
Reporter: (for the Harriet Roselocal newspaper)They decided on a Food Sale the 14th of May. The Committee is: Alice Smullen, Beaulah Johnson, Eleanor Walters, Jennie Yuckniewcz and Marion Edel.
They reported on the Clam Chowder Supper. They made Five Dollars and ninety-five cents, ($5.95).
May 1949
The regular meeting of the West Bush P. T. A. was called to order by the President Marion Edel and the saying of the "Lord's Prayer".
They decided to take the children to the Lake. The refreshment committee are: Grace Ward, Stella Hurd, Eleanor Walters and Jennie Yuckniewicz.
Meeting Adjourned.
June 1949
The regular meeting of the West Bush P. T. A. was called to order by the President Marion Edel and the saying of the "Lord's Prayer".
The Secretaries report was read and approved. The Treasurer's report was read and approved.
The nomination of President was Jennie Yuckniewicz.
Thirteen Dollars (13.00) was made on the Food Sale. They decided to take a bus for Eighteen Dollars and forty cents and will give 3 tickets to each child. The committee is Eleanor Walters, Jennie Yuckniewicz and Marion Edel. They donated Fifty Dollars (50.00) to the picnic.
They installed officers for 1949 - 1950.
